This hack: twenty minutes, five bullets of what the person will actually do this quarter, one draft post. Skip the culture paragraph Olympics.
When to use it
- You are hiring for a role you understand.
- You can list five real weekly responsibilities.
- You have a place to post once drafted.
When not to
- The role is undefined politically. Align on outcomes first.
- You need legal review of employment language. Draft then route to HR/counsel.
- You are rewriting to sound like a FAANG brand. Stay accurate.
Do this (timer on)
- 1. Write five bullets of real work (tools, meetings, outputs).
- 2. Run the prompt for a plain-English post.
- 3. Cut buzzwords. Keep must-haves short.
- 4. Add how to apply in one line. Save as draft for HR review.
