10-minute tool login you avoid

Timer: 10 min. Job: open one paid tool you avoid; do one real task.

Use or cancel later.

This is not a system redesign. It is one finished action before you open another tab.

When to use this

Workflow: tool stack
You can finish the job in about 10 min if you do not overthink.
You have the inputs already (notes, a list, a CRM view, a thread).
You will send or save something real before the timer ends.

Skip if you do not have the inputs yet. Gather first. Then come back.

Steps (10 min)

1. Start the timer. Put the phone face down. One tab for the job.
2. Open only the inputs you need for: open one paid tool you avoid; do one real task
3. Draft with a tight prompt (paste below). Ask for one output, not five options.
4. Edit for fit for two minutes max. Names, dates, the one awkward sentence.
5. Send or save. Done means the artifact left your head and landed somewhere others can see.
6. Stop. Do not “improve” it into a new project.

If the timer ends mid-draft, ship the smallest useful version. Ship beats perfect.

Prompt you can paste

Context: I am an operator working on tool stack.
Job to finish in 10 min: open one paid tool you avoid; do one real task
Angle: Use or cancel later.
Constraints: plain English, specific, no fluff, no fake metrics, ready to send or save.
Output: one finished artifact. Mark anything I must verify with [CHECK].

Paste your notes under the prompt. Keep the human judgment on anything marked [CHECK].

Done looks like

The job is finished: open one paid tool you avoid; do one real task
Someone else could find the result without asking you.
You did not open a second initiative.
