Send a no-show note with two reschedule slots
They didn't show. You can guilt them, ghost them, or make rescheduling easy. Only one of those gets the call back on the calendar.
They didn't show. You can guilt them, ghost them, or make rescheduling easy. Only one of those gets the call back on the calendar.
This hack: ten minutes, light note, two concrete slots. No guilt trip.
When to use it
- A booked call just no-showed.
- You still want the conversation.
- You can offer two real times you can take.
When not to
- They already rescheduled twice and pattern-broke. Park or break up cleanly.
- You are angry. Wait until you can sound like an adult.
- This was an internal meeting. Different norms; ping the channel.
Do this (timer on)
- 1. Confirm they actually missed (not a calendar glitch).
- 2. Draft with the prompt: short, two slots, easy out.
- 3. Send from your real inbox. Update CRM status.
Prompt (copy)
Write a no-show follow-up email.
Rules:
- 5-7 sentences
- Assume good intent
- Offer exactly two reschedule options I provide
- Include a graceful exit if timing is wrong
- No guilt. No "just checking in" emptiness.
- Do not invent incentives or discounts.
