This hack: one chase message that lists exactly what is missing, why it blocks, and by when you need it. One ask. No scavenger hunt language.

When to use it

A new client kickoff is blocked on inputs you already requested.
You can name the missing assets in a short list.
You have ten minutes before the delay compounds.

When not to

You never sent a clear kickoff checklist. Send the checklist first.
Legal or security review owns the delay. Escalate to the right owner; don't guilt the champion.
You are missing internal staffing, not client assets. Fix that offline.

Do this (timer on)

1. Open the kickoff checklist. Mark what is still missing.
2. Draft the chase with the prompt or shape below.
3. Send to the named owner (not a generic hello@).
4. Log the send date next to each missing item.

Write a short kickoff chase email.

Include:
- Thanks + project name
- Bulleted list of missing assets (exact names)
- One sentence on what each blocks
- A single due date or window
- Offer a 15-min call only if they are stuck gathering
- Calm operator tone. No guilt. No exclamation inflation.
